We are located in the 4 corners area of Southwest Colorado in the small, scenic town of Dolores. We are 50 miles northwest of Durango, CO
What type of hunts do you offer?
We offer fully guided hunts for elk, mule deer, bear and mountain lion. We also offer drop camps, subleases and trespass hunts for those who wish to hunt on their own. Let us customize your hunt!
Are your hunts conducted on private or public ground?
CHE does private land hunts only. We therefore control the amount of hunting done on each ranch.
What elevations will we be hunting?
Our private ranches range from 6,500 feet (winter range) up to almost 10,000 feet (summer range). We have ranches at every elevation. Regardless of weather conditions, we can follow the herds.

How large are your ranches?
Our ranches range from 640 acres to approximately 8,000 acres. We have exclusive hunting rights of approximately 30,000 acres of some of the best big game hunting property that Colorado has to offer.
What weapons can I use?
We specialize in archery, muzzleloader and rifle hunts.
Do you offer hunts for those who are physically challenged?
Absolutely!
What type of accommodations do you offer?
CHE has a 6,000 square foot lodge overlooking McPhee Reservoir. Some of the amenities include big scree TV, pool table, ping pong, and bar.
What types of meals are served?
Breakfast and dinner are served buffet style. Sack lunches are offered or soup and sandwich at the lodge. We can accommodate those who have special diet needs.
